This time, AR Packaging announced its development, which introduced its barrier trays for packaging ready meals and refrigerated food in modified atmosphere, made of cardboard, thereby continuing the theme of the widespread use of paper in packaging.

The FachPack 2021 exhibition, which is now taking place in Germany, has already managed to please with interesting innovations. And in general, it confirmed that in the near future more and more paper will be in demand for creating packaging. So, two companies presented very interesting developments of paper packaging at the same time.

North American Phillips Distilling Company has recently launched two vodka brands with unique, innovative packaging designs. In both cases, at first glance, inexpressive label, under certain conditions, blooms with bright colors.

St. Johns Packaging together with SABIC and Allied Bakeries announced the successful commercial launch of the world's first bread packaging bag made of a high percentage of recycled plastic. Bread in similar bags went on sale in UK supermarkets.

The global fight against plastic in the environment and with its harmful effects leads to the fact that a huge number of enterprises are trying to switch to the use of recycled plastic in their packaging, i.e. change to a closed cycle of the economy. And some of them succeed very successfully.

Combining digital and paper information - is it possible? Sappi and ISBC has proven that yes. The result is a sheet-fed product produced from a 100% fibrous base made from Swiss matte Sappi paper. ISBC's RFID chips are built in the sheets of paper without affecting the surface of the paper - it stays flat and smooth.

It is not a secret that carton packaging of juices and milk is extremely poorly recyclable due to their multi-layering and differences in the structure of the layers. And in the near future, this threatens to complicate the life of European manufacturers seriously.
