Our history
The name, Omela, was chosen as reflecting the main philosophy and ideology of the company - caring for the needs of the client. Even in antiquity, mistletoe was considered a symbol of life and a protective talisman. The Druids considered its properties to be miraculous, and in Scandinavia it was a symbol of peace.
1995
The company "Omela" was founded, the purpose of which was to sell packaging to fast food outlets.
1996
It was decided to start selling packaging equipment.
1998
The beginning of participation in exhibitions: in general regional, and then in all-Ukrainian specialized packaging exhibitions.
2000
Organization of the service area.
2001
Start of our own production. These were bag sealers and all kinds of non-standard packaging trifles.
2003
Omela has become a sponsor of the Center for Social Services for Single Pensioners.
2005
The beginning of foreign economic activity: imports from Russia, Poland and South Korea.
2007
The Omela company has become a sponsor of the hockey team.
2012
Start of equipment supplies for export to the CIS (Kazakhstan).
2013
Production of lines for packing bulk products into ready-made bags.
2014
The supply of high-tech packaging equipment from China has been established.
2015
Having studied the frequently arising problems and demands of our customers, as well as taking into account the expert knowledge accumulated over almost 20 years of work, our vast experience and a base of reliable suppliers, our team decided to reorient from ordinary sellers of packaging equipment to creators of ready-made integrated solutions for packaging various products.
2018
Start of export deliveries to Europe (Bulgaria).
2020
"Omela" became a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
2021
"Omela" in cooperation with the Finnish company "Nicapack" opened a representative office in Finland.
