KPE-160 digester

The KPE series digester is used for preparing first, second and third courses in food enterprises. The boiler has a number of advantages over conventional cooking means: it is more economical and it eliminates the possibility of burning and spoiling the product.

The nominal volume of the boiler is 160 l, and the nominal power consumption is 24 kW. The heating of the internal vessel of the boiler and its contents is carried out by indirect heat transfer through the steam jacket. It, in turn, is heated by an electric heater or a separate steam generator. Due to this, the temperature of the boiler tank does not exceed 110°C. And of course the temperature can be adjusted for a given type of product. The boiler tank is made of stainless steel. The digester itself is insulated - when heated, heat loss is much less than when using an open flame or electric burners on the stove.

There are 6 heating elements installed in the boiler, the consumption power of each of them is 3 kW. The time of heating water in the vessel to a temperature of 95°C does not exceed 55 minutes.
