Belt conveyor

Belt conveyor for transporting piece (single) and bulk cargo. This is a continuous device, the movable operating element of which is a tape. The cargo is placed on the upper part of the belt for its transportation and is transported along the longitudinal axis of the conveyor. Thus, the belt is both a supporting element (upper branch) and traction (lower branch).

Due to its advantages: simplicity of design, high productivity, low specific power consumption, high reliability, etc., belt conveyors are currently the main types of mechanisms for the continuous movement of goods. They are used in the industry, in food and non-food industries, in mining, agriculture, in the construction industry, etc. The use of a design in which the functions of the tension roll and the driving drum are combined in one unit makes it possible to reduce the labor intensity performed during the maintenance of the conveyor. This is especially important when operating long inclined feeding systems.

Lining the conveyor drum with rubber makes it possible to increase the adhesion force of the drum to the belt.

The conveyors can also be equipped with speed regulators, with the possibility of smooth regulation from zero to maximum, with the possibility of a soft start.
