North American Phillips Distilling Company has recently launched two vodka brands with unique, innovative packaging designs. In both cases, at first glance, inexpressive label, under certain conditions, blooms with bright colors.

The first brand of the company was UV Vodka, the packaging of which is made photochromic. When sunlight hits it, or rather its ultraviolet radiation, bright saturated colored lines and letters appear on the labels. When the bottle is removed from the light, the colors disappear, leaving only the black UV logo. According to company research, this unusual photochromic design is a buying incentive for about 64% of consumers.

The second brand of the company has a radically opposite and at the same time similar design. Cubist vodka was labeled with a color scheme that appears at low temperatures. Here the company proceeded from the preferences of consumers, most of whom are more fond of highly chilled vodka and even often store it in freezers so that it is always optimally cold. Cubist vodka is specially designed for such storage. When vodka reaches zero degrees Celsius and below, the special thermochromic label turns blue and thereby signals to the consumer that the drink has become cold enough.
