It's no secret that fresh food products require not only special storage conditions but often special packaging as well. Creating recyclable packaging for such products is no easy task.

However, Coveris appears to have mastered the problem. The company recently introduced its new MonoFlexBP monomaterial container to the packaging market. It is claimed to be fully recyclable, including the lid film.

The new container not only preserves the freshness and quality of the packaged product but also allows for repeated opening and closing, improving ease of use. Depending on the required packaging and storage conditions, the company offers PET- and PA-free sealing films, as well as thermoformable bottom films for these containers.

Importantly, the new packaging is fully compatible with existing packaging machines. It offers high gas impermeability and a hermetic seal that is maintained even with repeated closures. The closure film is flexographically printed. Films with matte and glossy paper finishes are also available.
