More and more often, cosmetic brands offer their customers various types of cosmetics in refillable packaging and, accordingly, cheaper refills for them. This time, the German brand K-beauty Yepoda pleased us with such news.
The company is launching its eco-friendly Pinky Promise hand cream in refillable packaging that is also convenient to take with you - the cream packaging is easy to attach to any bag. The refill is a biodegradable bag made of sugar cane, just like the original cream container. This is not the first product the company has created refills for. In September, such refills were released for eight more products, including cleansing foam, facial spray, creams, serums and moisturizers. The bags allow customers to reuse the containers, reducing plastic waste. This also gave the company the opportunity to declare that most of its products are refillable.
Some might say that with creams and foams everything is simple – they are easy to replace in the original bottle. But try doing this with mascara or lipstick! However, they tried. And what’s more – it worked! Ivorie Cosmetic Packaging, a manufacturer of cosmetic packaging, has released a refillable mascara bottle that can be refilled even at home. A brush for applying mascara is included in the kit, and the simple process of filling the bottle is described in detail on the manufacturer’s website.
