Cosmetic packaging is perhaps the most complex area of packaging. It must protect the cosmetics from environmental influences, resist any reactions with the product, and at the same time be attractive, often having a premium appearance. However, new EU packaging legislation affects absolutely all companies, including cosmetic brands. This means they are forced to seek alternative packaging options.

Most alternatives are reusable. These include glass jars that can be refilled, and plastic or metal containers with refillable cosmetics. However, there's very little news about recyclable packaging. So, we'd like to highlight this type of packaging now.

Quadpack has launched new Lola bottles for liquid cosmetics made from PET monomaterial at its German plant. This fully recyclable packaging is compatible with the product's highly alkaline formulas. It has an attractive appearance and is suitable for both mainstream and niche brands.

The bottle is designed so that the lid always stays in the same position when closed, allowing the packaging design to be extended onto the lid. The design itself can be applied in a variety of ways, including hot foil stamping.

The company currently offers Lola bottles in 6 and 6.5 ml sizes with various applicator types. Additionally, both bottles and applicators can be ordered separately.
