Large European company Sidel launches its new product - PressureSAFE™ aerosol cans made of PET. According to the company, these PET containers are in no way inferior to traditional aluminum aerosol cans, and even surpass them in some criteria.

The new PET aerosol containers are more economical than aluminum ones, as the cost of PET is significantly lower than the cost of metal. They are also more environmentally friendly - Sidel claims that the can is fully recyclable in the overall PET recycling system. In general, the manufacturer characterizes his development as a more “environmentally friendly aerosol dosage pack” and as an economical alternative to aluminum containers. Sidel primarily offers these containers for perfume and deodorant packaging, but specifies that they will also be suitable for other home and personal care products.

In addition to the advantages already mentioned, PET cans provide more opportunities for designers - this is the use of translucency, windows, various sizes of film sleeves for packaging a can. The very same design of the container is designed to make it absolutely safe during transportation and use, withstanding the required pressure.

Currently, Sidel containers have a capacity of 220 ml and 150 ml of product, as well as a neck suitable for conventional valves.
