What is the difference between paint and sauce? No, there are, of course, a huge number of differences, but if you look at the consistency globally, then there is practically nothing. Apparently, this is what they thought at Sherwin-Williams, the world leader in the production of paints and varnishes.

And in collaboration with Mondi, a very interesting and non-standard packaging solution was born. Sherwin-Williams produces paint concentrate in doy-pack bags, which should replace traditional 5-liter plastic cans with diluted paint. Buyers are offered to use their existing containers to dilute the concentrate.

The bags are made of a single material and are recyclable. Mondi developed bags with an extended spout specifically for this project to facilitate the filling and pouring process. The bag holds 950 ml and detailed instructions for using the paint are printed on the side. The spout built into the bag allows not only easy mixing of the paint with water, but also the ability to seal the bag tightly with any remaining paint, preserving it until the next use.

These paint doy packs are now available to purchase online and in UK retail stores.
