Today we want to tell you about an unexpected solution that BOTTLESS presented for the Sustainability Awards 2025. This is a reusable airless packaging Airless Pak, which is essentially a flexible plastic bag.
However, it is not that simple. This is a really flexible package, very similar to doy-packs, into which a reusable dispenser is inserted. The package can also be sold simply closed with a lid, which can be removed at any time and a dispenser can be inserted there. Both are equipped with a regular thread. In addition, the company has developed filling stations for its packages, which can be located in stores or other points of sale of packaged goods.
And this container can be used as packaging in many areas of production. First of all, these are cosmetics and care products, food products, household chemicals, etc.
Airless Pak reduces plastic use by up to 95% compared to traditional bottles, provides more than 20 refills and is recyclable. The manufacturer plans to commercially launch the new packaging in September 2025 in partnership with a French cosmetics company. Airless Pak is currently among the finalists for the 2025 Sustainability Awards.
