A rather unusual initiative is being launched in France. Starting early this year, many liquor retail outlets will offer customers the opportunity to purchase some of La Maison du Whiskey's premium spirits by the glass.

The alcohol producer is launching this program in collaboration with ecoSPIRITS France. Certain spirits will be supplied to retail outlets not in traditional glass bottles, but in special containers called ecoTOTE by the manufacturer. And using a special technology, it is bottled directly by the buyer. The buyer is offered to purchase a glass bottle one-time during the first purchase and use it for subsequent purchases. Special brand reusable bottles are available in tester sizes 20 CL, 50 CL or 70 CL. You can then attach the label and wooden bottle cap, the latter of which is stenciled with the ecoSPIRITS logo, to complete your purchase.

It should be noted that the alcoholic beverages that will be sold in this way are developed specifically for this program and in limited quantities. It will be impossible to buy them in traditional containers. And upon completion of the produced volumes, they will be replaced with others. The initial line of drinks includes blended Scotch whiskey, gin, rum and single malt whiskey.
