As you know, solid goods to be packaged have long been accurately classified and are divided into dusty, slow-flowing, good-flowing small-piece and piece. And the equipment for packaging is selected according to these categories. But what if the packaged product can be attributed to all categories at once? If the product to be packaged simultaneously contains both a dusty component and a fraction similar to a granule and stone-like inclusions?
This is exactly what the meal is, for packing which in big bags our company, Omela LLC, has delivered and successfully launched a semi-automatic line. In order for the line to efficiently perform all the functions assigned to it, it was necessary to provide a number of structural elements that allow transportation of the product without dusting, weighing with high accuracy and productivity, and transportation of filled bags to the place of shipment.
The line allows you to pack meal with a capacity of up to 20 m3/h, with a dose of up to 1000 kg (2 m3) and a dosing accuracy of up to 0.2% in almost automatic mode. Manual operation is only the operation of fastening the strips under the weigher and tying the upper valve after weighing. In the automatic mode, the bag is inflated after it is secured, dispensed and transported.
An additional difficulty that we had to overcome during the implementation of the project was that the line was partially located on the territory of an existing meal warehouse, then a closed bucket conveyor, which is part of the line, passed through the wall and the completion of the filling process took place already at the filling site. Currently, it is planned to manufacture and supply equipment for packing this product into 50 kg bags.
