Determination of the film weight by its size

Film suppliers usually sell their goods by weight. The consumer, having a specific product for packing, can only determine the dimensions of the film that will be used for packing. You can get the weight of the film, having its dimensions, using our free help in calculations.

If you do not have the density of the film that you want to use, you can take the approximate values of the density of the films here:

BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene Film) - 900 kg/m3.
Low density polyethylene (LDPE)- 920 kg/m3.
High density polyethylene (HDPE)- 960 kg/m3.
Polyamide (PA) - 1200 kg/m3.
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)- 1400 kg/m3.
