Customer request.

A manufacturing company approached us with a non-standard and technically complex request: to develop and implement a line for packaging a chemical mixture based on graphite (analogous to carbon black in its properties) in a valve bag with a capacity of 5.5 kg.

The product turned out to be extremely difficult to work with.:

  • Hard to flow;
  • Very dusty;
  • When mixing components, it tends to form lumps.

In addition to the packaging itself, the client needed:

  • pre-mix several components,
  • grind the resulting mixture until smooth before packaging,
  • and at the same time eliminate dust dispersion as much as possible.

We have developed and designed an anti-dust line, combining the processes of mixing, crushing and packaging in one technological solution..

Line structure:

  1. ✅Mixer “drunk barrel”
    • Cubic in shape, with an offset axis of rotation.
    • Ensures high-quality and uniform mixing of all components.
  2. ✅Unload mechanism
    • The mixer is mounted on guides and, after completing the cycle, moves onto the loading conveyor, dumping the entire batch of product.
  3. ✅The first screw conveyor
    • Moves the product through the crusher, feeding it in portions, which ensures efficient crushing and prevents the formation of lumps.
  4. ✅Second conveyor-accumulator
    • Serves as a buffer between the crusher and the packing section.
    • Equipped with vibration motors that prevent the product from sticking to the walls.
  5. ✅Semi-automatic packing machine for valve bags
    • Equipped with a built-in mixer in the hopper, which is especially important for difficult-to-flow mixtures.
    • Provides precise dosing of 5.5 kg per bag.

 

Additional Features:

  • 💨 Anti-dust design: All sections of the line have been designed to minimize dust generation.
  • 🧠 Rotary sensors: special models have been selected that are capable of stable operation in dusty conditions for automated feeding and packaging.
  • 🔁 Vibration motors: installed on conveyors, ensure stable feed and prevent product sticking.

 

Result:

  • The client received a comprehensive, individually developed solution covering all stages – from mixture preparation to packaging.
  • The line works stably with one of the most capricious products in terms of properties.
  • The entire process is organized taking into account the requirements for cleanliness and safety in production.
