A manufacturing company from the city of Zaporizhia.
Task:
Automation of packaging cheese in gusset-type packaging with liquid.
Challenge and special conditions:
At first glance, the task was standard: packaging 350 g of cheese in a bag with the addition of a portion of liquid. However, the main challenge from the customer was the non-standard placement of equipment. The customer insisted that the main packaging machine be installed in a specially prepared pit (recess in the floor), while the loading and discharge conveyors remained at the level of the main workshop. This was necessary to organize an ergonomic workflow and integrate the line into the existing production chain.
Decision from the OMELA team:
- Deep dive and analysis. Our team visited the site to meet with the client and take accurate measurements. We carefully studied the future installation site to take into account all technical nuances and customer requirements.
- Individual approach and design. Together with the client, we agreed on a layout for the future package that met all marketing and technological requirements. After that, our engineers developed a detailed technological design and drawings of the line, which fully took into account the non-standard placement in the pit.
- Comprehensive delivery and quick launch. After all the details were approved, we delivered the complete set of equipment. Once the line arrived at the customer's warehouse, our specialists quickly installed, adjusted, and commissioned it.

Result:
Despite the complexity of the technical task, we managed to implement the project in a short time. We delivered and commissioned a fully automated line that fit perfectly into the allocated space thanks to a unique installation scheme with a pit. The line ensures stable and accurate product packaging, fully meeting the customer's needs.
