Moisture-absorbing film for powders

Many powdered products are packaged with moisture. This reduces the product's shelf life and necessitates the addition of desiccant sachets. However, even adding a desiccant doesn't completely solve the problem. For this reason alone, ProAmpac's solution is worth considering.

Recently, this company, in collaboration with Ozzi, scaled up its 3-Phase Activ-Polymer™ technology and launched a moisture-absorbing film for packaging. Moisture Protect MP-1000 actively absorbs moisture that can accumulate inside packaging and has a high moisture-holding capacity. It is designed for excellent sealing properties and, importantly, is suitable for use on existing equipment without modification.

The film has a foil barrier layer and is available in both rolls and pre-made bags. It's suitable for packaging food, healthcare products, and pharmaceuticals. The only detail we didn't find mentioned is the film's recyclability, which is quite important for companies selling goods in the EU.
