Paper cup with built-in lid

Just recently, we featured a paper ashtray developed by Ekoroll. Now, this company is back in the packaging news. They've unveiled their all-paper cup for hot and cold drinks.

The cup's design allows the top to fold down to form a lid with a spout for easy drinking. This eliminates the need for traditional plastic lids and straws. Furthermore, the company chose a water-based coating made from plant-based ingredients rather than traditional polyethylene barrier coatings. This makes the new cups recyclable and fully compliant with new EU packaging requirements.

The cups are available in four standard sizes and are now available for order. You can order branded cups with virtually any design—both CMYK printing and flexographic printing with a metallic coating are supported.
