Lid without lid

We deal with dispensing caps all the time. And sometimes it's so inconvenient to open and close them. Especially when the bottle is meant to be held cap-side down, and the contents start leaking out no matter what you do. But Aptar Closures offers an alternative.

In fact, it offers a new generation of capless dispensing caps. The first products in this new line are Cleo and Airy. They use the SimpliSqueeze® flow control valve. It opens with a simple squeeze of the bottle and closes securely when released, eliminating the need to touch the cap itself and significantly reducing the risk of accidental dispensing or contamination. This makes dispensing product from the bottle much faster and more convenient.

Aptar Closures offers these closures for bottles containing a wide variety of personal care products, cosmetics, pet care products, and household cleaning products.

We should note that this technology isn't exactly new—several years ago, Procter & Gamble introduced similar capless bottles for their Fairy line. While they didn't replace the caps on all bottles, in the EU you can buy upside-down bottles of this dishwashing liquid with a similar cap. We tried it out and can assure you: it's very convenient. So, we hope the new Aptar Closures will catch on and become widely available. We understand that negotiations with the company regarding their purchase are already underway.
